It’s times like these you give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
The sun was high in the sky, clouds gliding over the horizon lazily. The sky was a deep blue, it was almost like the sea and the sky had traded places for the day. The trees were such a vibrant green, it made for a truly beautiful scene. The village of Hogsmeade always had this type of beauty, but with the crisp autumn air, it was really beautiful. Truly, winter was fast approaching, in only a few short months. The cold air could be viewed as negative, but this was even enjoyed to an extent. The crisp air really woke you up, made you feel alive. It was with a deep breath that she appreciated everything that the village had to offer, as she walked up high street. Her black cashmere boots made small noises against the cold cobblestone, a smile upon her placid face.
Glancing back and forth, checking to see if anyone was watching her closely, she closed her eyes and spun on her heel. Her arms were thrown up in the air as she twirled in the bright landscape, her plaid scarf swinging around her, along with her taffeta skirt which billowed. The gray tweed jacket she wore merely flapped at the lapel, before Blair stopped her spinning, giggling with merriment. She loved taking time out of her day to be spontaneous and fun. She could have done it for hours, had she not noticed that her body didn't quite like being out for that long. Her cheeks were bright red, completely flushed, as was the tip of her nose. She was rosy from the cold, and thought it best to stop in a shop for a bit while she warmed up. looking to her left, her eyes met the sign of the Wizarding gadgets shop, and smiled brightly. It would surely be warm in there.
Taking another look around, she sprinted to the door and swung it open, and then quickly behind her, like a kid playing a game of hide and go seek. Blair would always be childish, no matter how old she became.
There were so many interesting things lining the shop. Silver and brass instruments decorated all of the shelves, intricate objects sat behind glass display cases, and other interesting things lurked all about the shop. With a gleam in her eye, Blair bent over to examine a rather lethal looking thing, a knife which seemed to have thorns sprouting out of the handle; deadly it seemed.
