The X-Men: A group of mutants--humans genetically endowed with special superhuman abilities that typically manifest during puberty--that fight against the odds to spread mutant-human co-existence.
The Brotherhood: A pact of homo superiors who aim to carry the mutant population further, to make them the dominant species on the planet.
Since their discovery, mutants have been heavily and wrongly persecuted. It's theorized that mutants are the next stage in human evolution. In most parts of the world, they're a minority. Some humans are accepting, but many consider mutants a threat to their very survival. The X-Men fight and risk their lives to defend people that, more often than not, can't stand them. To hopefully one day live in peace with humans is their dream. The founder of the X-Men, and the school at which they reside, is world-renown geneticist and mutant advocate Professor Charles Xavier.
The Brotherhood of Mutants, created and led by the notorious Magneto, believe the opposite. Mutants shouldn't have to share the planet, for they are truly the superior species. Because of their differences, the Brotherhood often clashes with the X-Men. Several months ago, the Brotherhood dropped off the radar, giving the X-Men some peace. Now, however, they are back--and with a vengeance. With new members and a more organized, tactical approach to their beliefs, they are far more threatening than they were before.
As the teams continue to expand, the mutant population grows restless. Some struggle to believe the X-Men's dream, some side wholeheartedly with the Brotherhood. The time has never been more perfect to rise up and fight for what you believe in, but one question remains: which side will you choose?
