No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold
I am here in my mold[/font]

The confines of the Library were usually quaint...quiet...utterly empty. Students avoided entering at all costs, and who wouldn't? The smell of must wasn't exactly pleasing and the fact that you weren't allowed to talk in a loud enough voice dismayed most. It was one of those places you only entered if you had a dire need of it, or needed to escape from your obnoxious friends. That, or you genuinely just wanted to pick up a book and read. On this sunny afternoon, it was more deserted than usual. Students were out on the grounds, enjoying the last of the light before winter approached, all but a few anyway. One of those crazy children that chose to stay in was Persephone Weasley. The Weasley girl, was currently pouring over a N.E.W.T. preparation booklet, even thought the testing wouldn't take place for her til the following school year.
Her quill scratched across the sheet of parchment next to her every so often, marking down things she would have to remember about the test. She was going to be as prepared as she physically could. It would not be like her O.W.L.'s, although she had done exceptionally well on those. She had gotten an "O" in nearly every class, and an "E" in one. That was what she had to work on. She was not going to have that "E" appear on these tests. She was going to achieve an "O" in every bloody subject, and that was final. Her father would be disappointed in her if she did, and that was too much too bear.
"Tsk tsk, I'll never read this whole thing today." Persephone whispered as she flipped the booklet in her hands. It wasn't exceptionally large, but every page contained important information, and it was all in minuscule print. She would take at least a day to get through the whole thing, not too mention her copious amount of notes took time to write as well.
Setting down both book and quill, Persephone ran her hands through her hair. She always got so frustrated when she was trying to exceed her own expectations. She had to meet those of her parents, and both were very high. Her father had gotten a job at the Ministry almost as soon as he had graduated, which was some feat. How was Persephone going to measure up to that? She couldn't possibly, but she had to try.
"Oh..." She moaned as she let her head rest on the table for a moment. Everything was just so complicated.
