{I CANT BELIEVE THE NEWS TODAY}
{AND THE BATTLES JUST BEGUN}
FULL NAME: elizabeth marie parkinson
AGE: fifteen
YEAR or OCCUPATION: fourth year
BIRTHDAY: september nineteenth
SCHOOL/FORMER SCHOOL: hogwarts
HOUSE/FORMER HOUSE: slytherin
FAMILY:
elizabeth parkinson, mother.
robert parkinson, father.
-- -- parkinson, brother.
both her parents were slytherins during their time at hogwarts, and beth is following in their footsteps - the hat muttered slytherin the second it touched her head. her father works in the ministry, in the department of magical accidents and catastrophes.
ANYTHING ELSE: beth, as she prefers to be called, is a budding sidekick to anyone in need of her, and will pretty much do as she is told. she's not stupid though - she knows when she's being used, and she'll only stick around if she figures there's something in it for her.
and just because she does what she's told doesn't mean she can't do the telling once in a while - if she finds someone to order around, she'll instantly use them. she's hard to keep entertained, as she gets bored easily, and needs excitment in her life.
she's had a normal childhood, and was excited to start at hogwarts. her parents had already taught her a little magic - the kind of magic you generally don't learn within the walls about hogwarts. they realised their daughter was a little naive at times, and so tried to arm her. beth can look after herself, and uses what they taught her if she desperately needs to. she gets along well with her brother.

shadows all around you as you surface from the dark, emerging from the gentle grip of
NIGHT'S UNFOLDING ARMS. DARKNESS
darkness every where, do you feel all alone? the subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone.

elli growled under her breath. how had she ended up here? this was fucked up, too fucked up for words. elli was here, waiting for the werewolves, waiting to fight. on the vampires side. she had no fucking clue how it had happened - she just knew that if she didn't do as she was told, she'd end up dead. it wasn't like she really had a choice. she knew the other side had witches and wizards too - plenty of them. she was the only witch on the vampire side. that scared her a little - fuck, it scared her a lot. there would be magic flying at them from all over the place, and she was the only one that could stop it. she wasn't sure she could do it. she wasn't the best witch around - better than some, and getting better every day, but definitely not the best. at least she wasn't off her head, or drunk. although she half wished she was, that would be a good excuse as to why she was fighting for the vampires. what if she knew the people she was supposed to be hurting? sure, she came first .. she did. she had to keep telling herself that. because as much as she might not give the image off, she did care. sometimes. about certain people. that wasn't the point.[/size]-----------------------------------------------
she shot a glare at charles. he wasn't even going to be fighting. he was supposed to be this huge murderer, and he was standing back and letting everyone else do his dirty work. elli had to applaud him, she really did. he started this whole thing in the first place - he organised the vampire mafia, with the help of others, he first declared this whole stupid battle, he forced elli into it. she couldn't be held responsible for anyone she hurt, she had decided. it wasn't her fault - anyone would fight if charles was forcing them. charles and aleks, no less. although aleks wasn't here. neither was harley, or aiden. rumour was, they had fled. elli just figured they had chickened out - woe betide if elli did. at least she was the only witch, she kept telling herself. she would be protected - they couldn't lose their only witch. not yet, anyway. she wouldn't let herself think that - the vampires thought everyone was dispensable, once they'd served their purpose. elli would be out long before that time came, she would. she wasn't going to stick around for long, she couldn't keep fighting. this was killing her - physically.
charles had told her to use her magic to link up everyone's minds - she'd had to work out how to do the spell first, and now, her magic was keeping all minds of the vampires - and eden, the werewolf who was leading this battle once charles stepped back - linked together, so they could hear each others thoughts. she figured they'd all be having a good laugh at her own thoughts - a constant stream of cursing and the odd struggle to hold the link together. it hurt, it actually hurt, to keep their minds linked. she dreaded to think what was going to happen when the fighting started - whether or not she could throw spells and keep their minds linked was something she wasn't sure she could keep up with. she doubted they would appreciate losing the link - but elli wouldn't appreciate getting hurt either. she had to put herself first. the vampires wouldn't like it if she poofed off in the middle of the fight - they would probably kill her, minus the probably - but that was her plan. she would if she had to. she looked down, at her feet, and kept her eyes glued to the grass until she heard charles say the one word she had dreaded. attack.
she shivered, and looked up to see werewolves running towards them, the field lit by the moonlight. she didn't know what to do, and started throwing whatever spells came into her head at the werewolves. rui was a target - she knew that, charles had told her so. kist was going to go for him. but that didn't stop elli throwing a spell or two his way either ; just in case. in case of what, she didn't want to think about. she had the obvious thought to put a shield around them all - but she wasn't sure she could hold it. she tried anyway, throwing a shield around as many of the vampires as she could manage - herself, eden, kist and charles being the priority. she half closed her eyes, focusing on the shield and the mind link. charles might actually kill her if she didn't throw spells at them, but she didn't think she could. she glanced at charles, muttering under her breath, then looked back to the werewolves and struggled to throw spells at them. she didn't pay any attention to where her spells were going, who they hit - not even what spell she was actually using. some flew off to the side, not going anywhere. she didn't care. the shield, and the mind link. they mattered most. as long as she kept them both up, then they - and more importantly, elli - would be safe, and able to talk to each other. and if all else failed, she would be out of there quicker than charles could catch her.
