{WE EAT AND DRINK WHILE TOMORROW THEY DIE}
"four...five...still alive. Six...seven...all good girls go to heaven..." The eerie song floated in and out of the heavily paned windows, the glass box filled with humidity as one lone form slunk about it's protected field. A smirk danced across ruby lips as her fingers brushed against stems and leaves that fought back. A thorned branch darted out of no where, aiming for her pretty head, but no.
"Too slow, darling." she cooed at the plant life as she stepped to the side, narrowly avoiding the ragged danger. "You won't be sending me to heaven anytime soon, though I sorely doubt that's where I'd be going anyway..." Her dangerous blue eyes gazed now upon the plant, which was recoiling in it's ceramic pot, going back to a stationary position. She had won this battle, though it wasn't a large win. A human versus a plant was not an epic battle, though it was enough to keep Fawne in her egotistical high. The other herbs and fungi seemed to get the gist as well, as they all stopped their attempts to harm her as well. This Irish beauty was not about to fall victim to a carbon dioxide expelling weed, no, if she were to fall victim to anyone...it would be a someone, and not a something.
Bringing one of her delicate hands to her brunette locks, she allowed her fingers to become entangled in the mass. Her sadistic tendencies had started up once again.
As she continued down the line of plants, the darkened room only shedding light on a few in particular, her glittering orbs halted upon one in particular. The corners of Fawne's mouth darted upward as she approached it, outstretching a hand to to veining stem.
Muggles knew of this plant as well, but they had no idea how deadly it truly could be. The children found it to be enough to spark curiosity, especially with a name like "The Venus Fly-trap". The way the muggles treated them, they were novelty plants...but Fawne knew the truth. A few muggles had the right idea, though, as some movie had been made to the right ideal. If she remembered correctly, the film was called "The Little Shop of Horrors" or something along those lines. All Fawne could rightly remember when her Father had shown her the film, was that the plant grew to enormous proportions and began eating human flesh. An exciting plant...very exciting.
She glanced upon the pink of what could only be the blossom, looking in between the white spikes that resembled teeth. Slowly, she moved her hand forward, her finger outstretched as she made to touch a spike with light fingers...taunting the plant.
