hello and welcome to this little corner of my mind.
i'm v-la, better known as that crazy person that makes a lot of characters and freaks out about grammar. i make no apologies on the first count, and would like to reference the crazy part of it for the second count - i plead insanity. i'm obsessive compulsive, what can you do? but enough about me. this is my thread tracker, my plot ad, all of that good stuff. want to rp with me? reply here and we'll thread away. but please, have a character in mind that you'd like to rp with. if you're posting here, you're interested in posting with me, you should have some idea of what and why, you know?

this is sabine montgomery. she's a fifth year gryffindor student and halfblood. this is her snazzy plot page
she's a fairly easygoing individual. she does clash with most slytherins, being a gryffindor. they're just on different ideological pedestals. and yet, she has a bizarre network of relationships that spans through the houses and beyond. that's a personal subplot thing. anyway, if your character is a quidditch player, they might get along. she loves quidditch. or they could have a friendly rivalry thing going, because they support different teams. just tossing that out there. she's also a very good secret-keeper (though it's all starting to wear on her) and a good listener. if someone has a problem she'll listen and try to help, or just listen if the person just needs to vent. if someone's picking on someone smaller than they are, she'll charge right in to put a stop to it - even if it's a dangerous idea. she's a little headstrong underneath the mild exterior, so she meshes better with followers than other leaders.
even though she claims she isn't, deep down she is a little judgmental. she thinks she's better than the slytherins because she's in the 'noble' house. and she'll also charge right in to aid the victims of bullying, as mentioned above, so the perpetrators of the aforementioned bullying would probably rather see her dropped off a tall tower than graduating with honors. it's okay, admit to it. other dominant personalities could also fall into this category. while seemingly a shy and quiet girl, underneath the reserved exterior she's a leader. dominant personality types often end up with headaches when they butt heads. she and linette durand argue constantly, but there's room for other argumentative leader types. and general animosity is welcome as well, naturally.
i don't know what her perfect date would be like. she's still a new character and i'm testing the waters with her, so you can probably expect an update in this section later of what sort of personality she would mesh with in a romantic sense. in the meantime, if you've been reading the bit above and think you have a character that would have some chemistry with her, give me a shout. you might be better at figuring out what kind of guy she'd work with than i am.

this is polly alderton. she's a fourth year hufflepuff student and a pureblood. this is her snazzy plot page
she's a sweet, hardworking, and loyal hufflepuff. of course, she's more comfortable in the water than anywhere else, she sees good where there isn't any, and she's loyal to a fault. she's a pureblood, but as she's in hufflepuff she's not too popular with the slytherin crowd, as one might imagine. i could see her having friends in the other houses though. she's a follower, plain and simple. she doesn't like to take charge of situations, she just goes with the flow. she might not be the brightest tool in the shed, but she's supportive and believes that honest work is better than easy cheating. she's the baby of her family and as such, is used to receiving attention, but as long as her friends can distance themselves enough from their own problems to acknowledge her existence and reassure her that she matters, she takes the background roles.
pretty much anyone that doesn't fit in to the above category. the slytherins that think they own the world, or ravenclaws with no patience for those not topping the academic decathlon. whatever their cause may be, even a go with the flow follower type will have animosity directed towards them for some reason or another. any future death eaters that want to make fun of her for being a hufflepuff (which is often considered the weakest house by people in other houses) or for any other reason, really, feel free to apply for a spot here. i make it sound like an interview, but really all who fit here rather than in the space above are welcome. i have cookies. evil cookies.
seeing as she's fourteen right now, i don't see any big finals in her future. if you have a guy her age and want to go for an innocent level crush and the characters are compatible personality wise, sure. but i'm so not into the whole first years declaring undying love thing. she's a young teenager who might have a schoolgirl crush or two, but she's not about to drop everything and spend the rest of her life with someone. so yeah, this should be a quiet section unless there's a reason, not the other way around.

this is linette durand. she's a seventh year ravenclaw student and pureblood. and this is her snazzy plot pageshe'd probably be friends with a few other purebloods, at least on a superficial level. she kind of resents the high society crowd, but she can't escape from it. and in secret, she does everything she can to rebel against her society background. she's an aries, headstrong and brash, forced into a life of sitting still and acting like she likes people she hates. that's why she sets fires, it makes her feel powerful. but don't hold that against her, that little habit is a total secret. only one person knows about it right now. she'd do well with follower-types. she likes to take charge. she knows what she wants and goes after it when she's on her own at school, and when faced with other dominant personalities she just butts heads with them. as a ravenclaw, she's not stupid, and she loves a good debate. house doesn't matter, neither does blood status, it's all about personality. she'd be willing to befriend a muggleborn simply for the sake of the shocked gasps. headstrong girls will always have their share of enemies. she can come on too strong when she's in pursuit of her goals, and some people would really take that to heart. she's also not good when paired with other leader personality types. she's not good at playing follower, having to be the cute little daughter at parties made her doubly resentful of that culture and letting other people tell her what to do. there is a line there. she respects her professors as intellectuals who are there to teach her. but she doesn't respect other students who think they're all that and a slice of toast, and she'll make no secret of that or her desire to smash them down to size. being head girl, she really shouldn't threaten people even if she doesn't act on it, but she's honestly not the best role model. she thinks she'd make a better leader than she really would. well, believe it or not i've actually got a romantic plot in the works for her. it centers around her desire to rebel against her background and pureblood society, and her ability to get herself intro trouble. she's going to get herself wound up in a lot of trouble, and i don't know if it's going to end well or not, but that all depends. either way, this category is pretty much taken care of in a vague sense of we still need to plot out. that's not nearly ALL with riley katon in the entrance hall

this is iris foss. she's a second year hufflepuff student and a muggleborn. and this is her shnazzy plot page.
so, she's the sort of person who would have some friends, but those friends would have to be okay with her youthful mothering. she likes to take care of people. she's not really a leader, but she's very set in her ideas and doesn't respond well to change. still, a stable personality like hers can balance out a more extreme personality. she's a voice of reason when people are masterminding harebrained schemes. people in this category would have to be all right with muggleborns, obviously, and sharing her love of the outdoors and open spaces is definitely a plus. oh - and she loves things that grow, so plant shredders need not apply. if you think that a maternal, earthy little girl would get along with your character however, this is the spot for you.
when she's provoked, she gets angry. it takes a lot to set her off, but if you manage to get there and cross that line, woe unto you. she doesn't bother with using magic to duel too often. she has an older brother and a number of younger siblings, all muggles. she'll just go straight to physical violence. and the person who managed to provoke her will find out that despite being young, short, and blonde, she can really pack a punch. people that belong in this category include but are not limited to: muggle haters, the average slytherin, attention whores, snobs, gratingly irritating individuals. basically, anyone who would be able to or intend to set her off, or people who would dislike her for being a muggleborn.
seeing as she's twelve, this section should be left on the shelf for now. when she gets older, then sure, anyone who'd have good chemistry with her might be a good school crush for her. but i have some ideas floating around in my head for when she's older, so if they haven't wandered off to wherever my mind goes when i look away by the time a few months have passed, then that can happen. anyway, i'm rambling. consider this area shelved until further notice, kay? cool.
note: she is in fact, a seer, but she doesn't know it yet, it hasn't become pronounced enough for her to really be aware of it. ( no threads)

I think Ivanov can have a decent relationship with Sabine, Polly, or Linette unlike Aurellie which I had trouble to fit in to your characters.
With Sabine, because he was also an avid quidditch lover and he was also in Gryffindor team, so they should get along quite well.
With Polly, as a friend simply because Ivan's kind to most girls
and Linette could probably do as a romantically inclined relationship, seeing both of them are in their seventh year, Ivan did not take control as he placed women above all else, and he was the offspring of a squib of a pureblood family with a normal muggle woman.
What do you think?

Sabine and Polly getting along with him sounds good. I'm sure Sabine and Ivan could have a good time discussing school games and quidditch teams. As for Linette though, she's already got a romantic plot in the works... (But she's prickly anyway, so respect on its own might not mesh well with her. And by prickly, I mean she has serious anger issues.)

so i think sabine and minerva would make good buddies. they're pretty similar personality wise, but i think they could mellow out around the other. they could be those types of friends who are really close, but get on each others nerves and are in a fight almost every other day over something stupid(because both are so stubborn) but at the end of the day they can still call talk to each other about some problem they are having and still love each other.

Yeah, I think they would be good friends, but having issues of being similar and stubborn. (The similarity was unintentional, obviously ) And Sabine is a big quidditch fan even though she's clumsy, so she could be a cheerleader for Gryffindor during the games. Do you want to rp somewhere?
